...There's some of what you'd expect and some unexpected
twists
to my one man performance.
Performance is the key word here and entertainment
is what it's all about - from easy light rock and old time standards
to full-blown party time music (plenty of Buffett), plus electric blues
(lots of Stevie Ray Vaughan), and other avenues of mood and intensity.
Pure acoustic guitar and vocal arrangements usually
make up the first set of an evening no matter what type of venue I play.
The night builds from there and I change gears to keep things
interesting. When the time is right, I start adding a bit of rhythm
section background accompaniment and get a little more diverse, and
at times, a bit more energetic. Getting a feel for the audience
and where they want to go with it is the way I go.

The music comes from all eras of popular music.
Hoping not to sound too presumptuous, the mixture of styles and
instruments keeps things interesting, and there really is something
for everyone to like. I also perform my own originals when the
time seems appropriate, and I've received a great response on those
songs.
More about the songs and styles on The
Music page.
My little red "headless" design guitar gets alot
of curious attention from people. Believe me , it's a real musical
instrument that's as versatile and "ballsy" as any guitar out there.
